Now back to your regularly scheduled program...
I ordered myself something for Christmas from Tommie Copper that I had been wanting for a long time now- compression sleeves for my calves.
No wonder they were so cheap.

Operation Get-Amy-to-Gain-5-Pounds-or-More is officially under way! (You can read more about this issue here).
I went to the store and picked out some snacks that I like that are high calorie and not totally terrible for you (read- don't contain a cup or more of butter and sugar). I chose cashews (they are my favorite nut), Good2Go Bars, cheese and wheat thins, and apples and peanut butter.
On top of that I will now be drinking a shake that consists of a cup and a half of Vanilla Almond Milk, a Carnation Instant Breakfast, a scoop of my protein powder, and a banana each night before bed. It contains something like 480 calories.
If that doesn't help me pack on a pound or two then I will be changing my blog name to "See Skeletor Run". Or maybe "Skinnier Runner"? Is that plagiarism?
On a totally different note, I'm sure you are looking for a new song to get your heart pumping (whether you're running, or cleaning the bathroom). Thanks to Florence + The Machine, you can move to this:

I have not bought myself anything. I spend enough throughout the year and would feel guilty. I didn't know TC came individually either! I had a review/giveaway and they sent me 1 for each leg....LOL
I LOVE my CEP compression sleeves! I wear them ALL THE TIME! Seriously, if you ever run into me somewhere ask me if I'm wearing them and I probably am. I love them!
I love Florence and the Machine! Love love! Look up "The Drumming Song" if you haven't already heard it. Good luck packing on the poundage sister... I think you've got a solid plan and a pretty healthy one. ps: You could never be skeletor!
CEP!!!!!! omg. i am the BIGGEST fan. i would live in my hot pink CEP socks if I could :) and you are seriously hysterical. if your blog was "skinnier runner" i would pretty much love it. although i understand the need for your 5lb gain as well. you will love those G2G bars. so dang good.
i just treated myself to an iphone. ummm yeah. eek. expensive. it was a big Christmas treat.
when are you free? we need to catch up. i miss you so much!
I especially love the crossed out and corrected parts. You are charming.
Tommie Copper seriously sucks so bad. They sent me a bunch of free stuff and I sent it right back because it was that bad. Wish you would have asked me first but good switch. :)
