Confession

I'm a drill sergeant parent... and team captain.  I learned last week that people on my old Wasatch Back team nicknamed me "Sarge".  I would be more upset if it wasn't accurate.

I went for a run the other day and realized I forgot to put on a sports bra.  The kicker- I didn't notice because of how it felt when I was running- I noticed because I didn't have a good place to clip on my iPod.

I hate the name of my blog.

I made a New Year's Resolution to only have one sugary treat per day.  It's ridiculous how hard it is for me!  6 days and so far it has been a success.

The thought of running a marathon again makes me want to run and hide.  I'm scared.  Marathons are hard, but TRAINING for a marathon is a billion times harder.

I keep my kids up during the day so I can put them to bed early on Thursdays.  Why?  Two words- Grey's Anatomy.

I'm so baby hungry that I might just keep this little baby that I watch during the day.  His mama can just find a new one, right?

I want to nap every single day.

I like popcorn with equal parts butter and popped corn.

I like toast with equal parts butter, bread, and strawberry jam.

I like pancakes with equal parts butter, and pancake.
I like butter.

Well, Sarge...

I actually think that's a pretty killer nickname. And basically I vote you put that baby hunger into action and I print you up a baby on board tshirt! They're really fun to wear in races!!! :)

When I was a little kid my mom used to make our pb&j sandwiches with pats of butter (like large squares) under our peanut butter (yes, butter and peanut butter)... talk about ridiculously nasty. That pretty much cured me of butter for life... so I'm not a huge fan. I still get the shivers thinking about it.

And let's be honest... the marathon is afraid of you, Sarge! :)

How I wish you didn't say that. I bought new shoes today! Gonna try some Mizunos. :)

Um, I completely relate to confession #2... I will regularly go out into the world braless and no one ever notices because really, it's not a big change. They're invisible either way.

I also hate the name of my blog! But I can't think of anything better to change it to...

Also, I am now fantasizing about pancakes slathered in butter. I would be mad at you if it wasn't such an amazing thought.

I LOVE your confession posts.

I'm a total drill sergent with my kids too. On top of making them be well behaved in church with no toys or snacks I also regularly make them do pushups for food.

I like the name of your blog, but if you hate it, change it.

I couldn't do the sugary treat thing. I'm addicted.

I want a baby that I don't have to produce. They are so cute. I just don't want to be pregnant again (gestational diabetes = 9 months of hunger)

I love butter on everything.

AHHHHHHHH!!!!! Reading your comment and everybody else's about marathon training is totally scaring me. I THOUGHT I wanted to do one someday and now I'm not so sure. But I so desperately want to be able to say I ran a marathon someday.

There was a time my blog name wasn't working for me anymore and I totally changed it. My new one is in honor of my 18 year old son who passed away almost two years ago. So I say if you don't like something then change it.

I'm a total lover of butter myself too, none of that margarine garbage in this household.

I used to respect you and admire your serious running skillz.

And then the revelation that you adore butter? My respect has grown infinitely. I couldn't agree more.

(I like the name of your blog too.)
