Where the magic happens.

***Family blog update!

There was a very loud and obnoxious knock on my door yesterday afternoon.  I was instantly annoyed because my two year old was asleep on the floor and I have a small yappy dog that barks incessantly if someone even walks in front of my house.

You know how precious nap time is.

By some tender mercy, Annie didn't wake up.  And then I found this on my doorstep:
I have a good husband!  He must have seen me *attempt* to download and edit family pictures on our dinosaur Dell and took pity on me.

So, if my posts seem more sparkly than usual, now you know why!

We have done our duty to stimulate the economy with our tax refund :).

I desperately want to add a Ragnar sticker to the front.  Should I?  Husband says no and I say HECK YES.

Did you get a refund this year?  Do you spend or save?
We do both.  We spend a fraction of it and then save the majority.  Or at least try to.  Tax season is the one time of year when it's awesome to be poor.

We do get a refund but tend to save it and spend little bits of it throughout the year. We used to spend it but then I'd be so sad when all that money was gone in a matter of days!

Your own business = lots of taxes and no refund. Such a bummer! Congrats on the new computer!

What a nice husband!!! I would say hold off on the sticker!! That's just me though...I don't like tampering with brand new things! Tax time hasn't come yet but it will very soon. I usually get a refund so II'm hoping for the same this year!

Check you out with your new computer!!!

Yes, I did stimulate the economy with our refund. Our Mazda 5 got a brand new set o' tires! $600 later.... yikes!

Slap a RAGNAR sticker on that baby!

Saving it!!!! I save money like a hoarder. It's my best hobby. I hate shopping, it (literally) makes me sick to my stomach to spend money on anything besides food, school, and transportation. (obviously this is an issue when your hi-lites are as grown out as mine, or when your running shoes fall apart. . . .or your work pants -- happened a few too many times, oopsie!) Alas, balance in all things. . .I'm working on it ;-)

snap, crackle, pop!!!! This totally reminds me I haven't even attempted to get my taxes done yet......crud I hate doing taxes. I need to have like 6.3 kids so the government actually likes me. I am glad you got a sparkly gift and I say heck yes put the Ragnar sticker on it. :)

We are funding the adoption of our two children from China so 99% of the refund will go to that. We do plan to replace my laptop, though, with that 1% we're using for a little bit of "fun".

I'm waiting to stimulate the economy, meaning haven't finished the taxes yet. Granite counter tops should be in our future.

Nice laptop. It is a lot easier to be productive with a decent computer.

Our taxes are nowhere near done either. But I suspect we'll spend some and save some. Great purchase! I totally vote for the Ragnar sticker too!

Oh no - that dreaded knock during nap time! Congrats on the new computer!

A portion of our refund will go to savings and portion is funding our mountain climb. :)
