This team is cursed.

***Snuck in a 3.5 mile run this morning with Darcy just for the fun of it. Completed the whole thing with an 8:09/mile pace, but I was able to sprint at the end of the run for the first time in 2 months! Yahooo!

I'm 99.5% sure that we are going to lose another runner on my Ragnar team today.

This will be the 5th replacement I've had to find. FIFTH.

That's, like, half of the team!


Don't want to be a stress on your team captain? Follow these simple rules:

1- Do what they say with a smile- even if that means having to switch vans or legs last minute.
2- Always train like you are running the hardest leg.

3- Don't run a really hard race the same month as your Ragnar (or other team event).
4- Pay your money on time.

Those aren't so hard, right? This runner ran an awesome half marathon last weekend and was so close to a PR! Here's some irony for you- guess what she injured????? HER IT BAND!

IT Bands are of the devil.

So sorry girl. Being a Ragnar team captain is definitely stressful. Thats why I am never captain but just runner. ha

What my team captain does is makes the runners find replacements for themselves if they are unable to run. It will all be worth it in the end, just keep telling yourself that. :)
