In other news: This week was a huge running/exercise FAIL for me. The holidays are upon us and I just know they are going to wreak havoc on my normal routine. Anyone else struggling with this already?

Definitely - my Y classes are cancelled this week - and it's going to be tough to get my still-not-running booty up in the morning for cross-training. :)
eee fingers crossed. I think I've finally found my winter grove. I have decided that I MUST run for at least one hour on Thanksgiving while the turkey is in the oven. It'll help me balance out my second helping of stuffing.
The holidays are a hard time for me too, mostly because the darkness and the weather combine to make me a cranky pants.

I did two workouts this entire week! I was getting over a cold, but really, I just wasn't feeling it. Even though I know Thanksgiving is coming and I know I'll want to eat 5 pounds of stuffing and an entire pumpkin pie... I am struggling to get motivated!
But we can do it! Are you on Pinterest? I'm using it to find tons of motivational nonsense... it's silly, and it's completely mental, but it's helping me!
You're not alone!!! I partially tore my ACL and I'm not on my "A" game. That plus all the temptations of food and an Italian mother who insists I eat everything = recipe for disaster/failure :(
