Thinking about running a marathon?

Be prepared to commit.  To your training schedule.  To your long runs.
And to painting your toenails.
I bet you were hoping to see a giant picture of ugly runner feet today.  You're welcome!
I can honestly say that, for me, this is the biggest pain in the butt about being a marathon runner.  I HATE painting my toes.  In fact, I'm going to have to head to the store to buy some toenail polish just to cover up these bad boys.

Aww, see I think you should leave them. It's pretty cool they're alternating colors - you might start a new trend!

Oh my goodness! Your poor little toes! I've never had mine that bad. I only had one turn black and fall off last year. My boyfriend though - he will lose like five at a time! Yikes!

ha ha don't even think about painting those. I would walk around and brag about it. Battle wounds girl. :)

Haha!!! How did you know?!

I don't like painting my toenails very much either... But your runner feet are actually pretty darn cute!

Shoot, if I were you I wouldn't paint them. That's a badge of honor, right there.

Haha I love the feet pic!

While still running at BYU, we would get together in one of our hotel rooms the night before the race and paint our toenails together. I loved these little bonding parties. I was never a toenail painter, but it is much more fun with other peeps, especially teammates!

I can't count on one hand the number of times I've painted my fingernails but I love painting my toenails. I can't recommend OPI enough if you're looking for something really quality in the nail polish department!

Yet another reason we are similar, I also have black toenails but hate the maintenance of peticires.

It was awesome to meet you yesterday! Thank you, thank you so much for the card and blocks!

You need to call my sis and get glitter toes. Talk about cuteness+low maintenance.
